New Assistant Principal, Mrs. Cochrane

I am married to my high school sweetheart of 23 years.  We have two children, who have both attended Summit.  We love rescue dogs hence we have three.  I am an avid local food and coffee lover.   Every summer our family plans a road trip to explore various national parks.  I love the outdoors, running and music.  I have been in education for 15+ years and have served as an educator and coach in Oklahoma and Colorado. Most recently, I taught chemistry at Edmond North High School and after completing graduate school served as an assistant principal at Santa Fe South High School this last year.

It is an absolute blessing to be part of the Eagle family.  As a past Eagle parent, I witnessed the countless hours of dedication and passion the staff poured into Summit students.  I value and find it an honor to stand by the Summit staff.  Our mission statement is “inspiring young people to think, learn and grow to be the best in life.” I have observed first-hand how Summit has impacted my children and other students. I am excited to see how we as a staff can continue to allow our students to RISE above expectations and to empower our students to become the very best they can be. I look forward to providing Summit students and staff with the best administrative support and resources so they can grow, learn and excel during their time at Summit. By embracing the culture, diversity and history of Summit we will help all of our students and teachers to achieve success both in and outside of the classroom.
