🦅 Heart of an Eagle Awards 🦅
We’re excited to introduce an award that recognizes our incredible staff members. The Heart of an Eagle Award shines a light on the unique ways our staff show their heart and dedication to our Eagles. Each week, we’ll celebrate a few staff members and the wonderful qualities that make them such an important part of our Eagle family!

We can’t wait to see you there! 💙

This hands-on project gave them a chance to practice precision, problem-solving, and perseverance. They also had a blast watching their creations soar across the floor! 👏 Way to go, 6th grade engineers! 🛠️✨

🌍✨ This week in social studies, our 6th graders explored the difference between absolute and relative location! Students teamed up to move through the 6th grade wing, testing out different scenarios to determine which type of location they were working with. This activity not only helped them think on their feet but also gave them the chance to put one of the 5 Themes of Geography into action in a fun and meaningful way.
One of the best parts was that students got to collaborate with peers from the other grade level team, which made the learning feel like a shared adventure and added to the excitement of the day!
👏 A big shoutout to our amazing social studies teachers, Mr. DeWindt and Mr. Faulkner, for planning such an engaging and interactive lesson that brought geography to life!

We’re kicking off a brand-new school year and couldn’t be more excited! Last year our chapter crushed it with 9 Top 3 finishes at State and 5 Top 10 finishes at Nationals—and this year we’re aiming even higher.
For those new to Summit: TSA (Technology Student Association) is a national organization where students get to design, build, code, lead, and compete in events that challenge creativity, teamwork, and innovation. It’s a place to discover new skills, make friends, and achieve big things together.
✨ Nationals 2026 → Washington, D.C. (June 22–26)
✨ New events + updated guidelines
✨ Theme: “Unity Through Community”
📅 Mark your calendars: Open House is August 25!
Our Officers will be there to share what TSA is all about and hand out enrollment forms—the perfect chance to join our award-winning team!
