"My name is Amanda Burkhart and I teach Drama and Musical Productions. This is my seventh year at Summit and my 25th year teaching middle level Drama. I absolutely love working with middle school students and Summit is a great place to be! I always enjoyed school when I was growing up and I admired all of my teachers. Being involved in my schools' drama programs growing up was such a fun and beneficial experience for me. Teaching drama allows me to have fun everyday and share my love of theater with my students. I am extremely honored to have been named the Summit teacher of the year, as well as a finalist for the Edmond Public Schools District Teacher of the Year." - Mrs. Burkhart
