Congratulations to Jonathan Frazier, Summit's 2024-2025 Teacher of the Year!

Mr. Frazier teaches math to all grade levels and has 15 years of teaching experience. He was inspired to become a teacher after spending time working with the Special Olympics program in Stillwater while he was in school at OSU. He really enjoyed working with those student athletes and made the decision to transition his major to Education. One of Mr. Frazier's favorite parts of teaching is seeing student success in the classroom. He knows that math is not everyone's favorite subject, so when students that may have struggled with math in past years have "ah-ha" moments or success with a topic being covered in class, it is very rewarding for him. When he isn't in the classroom, Mr. Frazier enjoys spending time with friends and family, going to the movies, watching OSU sports, and playing with his dog, Molly.

We are proud to have Mr. Frazier represent our building this year and wish him well as he moves on to compete for District Teacher of the Year! If you would like to join us in congratulating him, you could write a handwritten note and send it with your student or email him words of appreciation and encouragement!
