
Due to the threat of severe weather, all Edmond Public Schools will move to remote learning for Monday, November 18. Students should refer to information sent by their school site for assignments that will need to be completed for attendance to be counted.


On this Veterans Day, we honor and thank all the brave men and women who have served our country. Your courage, sacrifice, and dedication are deeply appreciated. Evening performances of the school play, The Con, will be held on Nov. 7th & 8th at 7:00pm in the Summit Cafeteria. Tickets will be sold at the door for $3.

Congratulations to the winners of the Pumpkin Decorating Contest!

Students are allowed to wear a costume on Halloween! Costumes are required to follow district dress code and should allow the student to still be successful during the school day. Please see the Halloween Costume Expectations flyer for complete details.


Reminder! All students wanting to participate in the Pumpkin Decorating Contest need to bring their entry to the library by the end of school on Oct. 30th. Pumpkins will be judged and prizes given out to the winning pumpkins on Halloween!



Congratulations to our 2024-2025 Teacher of the Year, Jonathan Frazier! Mr. Frazier teaches math for all grade levels and this is his 6th year at Summit. We are so excited to have him represent our building this year!

No School Oct. 17th - Oct. 21st for Fall Break! We hope you have a safe and fun break! Don't forget to charge your chromebooks so you are ready to dive back into learning on Oct. 22nd!


Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Oct. 10th and Oct. 14th from 3:30pm - 7:00pm. Conferences times are not scheduled, so attend the day and time that works best for your schedule. The Scholastic Book fair will be open during conferences if you would like to shop with your student. We hope to see you there!


The first Fun Food Friday of the year is this Friday, Oct. 4th! Students may bring money to purchase snacks during Advisory. Items will be priced at $1 to $2.


Picture Retake Day is Oct. 4th! All students need to have their picture made, so if you were absent on picture day you will have your picture taken on retake day. Students that purchased pictures and would like a retake need to bring their picture packet with them on retake day. Students that did not purchase pictures and would like a retake need to bring their proof card with them on retake day.

Auditions for the school play are quickly approaching! Students interested auditioning must be eligible in all classes, able to attend daily rehearsals until 5:00pm, and audition in Room 111 on either September 12th or 13th from 2:30pm-4:00pm. Students should direct any questions about the school play to Mrs. Burkhart in Room 111.


Help support Summit classrooms and students by participating in our school fundraiser! Packets will be sent home with students on Sept. 4th, and all students have the opportunity to receive a prize for participating!
